The Man I Still Look Up To | A Tribute to My Father
My father was my coach, my best friend, and my hero. I didn’t have him long enough, but what he planted in me never left.

My father was my coach, my best friend, and my hero. I didn’t have him long enough, but what he planted in me never left.

Some men build houses, decks, fences, and businesses. Others build something far greater, a legacy. This is a tribute to my father, Graylyn Davis, a man whose faithfulness to God, commitment to marriage, and love for his family taught me what true biblical manhood looks like.

Some people talk about their faith. Annita lives hers. She walks into a room and makes everyone feel seen, loves her grandchildren without reservation, and carries her family through hard seasons with a grace and strength that leaves me speechless. On this Mother’s Day, I just want the world to know — I am the most blessed of all.

Letter to my children, I’m not good at saying these things out loud, so I’m writing them down. To my kids and grandkids: you are my legacy, my prayer, and the reason I keep showing up.
